How many times have I lost my way?
How many times have I forgotten to pray?
How many times have I been led astray?
How many times have I turned away?
If I could count the stars
It wouldn’t be enough.
For how can I compare the pain I cause
To the beauty of your works?
Yet here I am again
Hoping for a life with You
Lost, broken, hopeless
Would you take me back?
This weary soul who refuses to believe
That real love can possibly be true
Unconsciously pushing boundaries
To prove it can never be.
And then there’s You.
You envelop me in your embrace.
Nothing but joy in your eyes.
You smile and say,
“Welcome back home.”

I love this post. We know, as Christians that we even when we go astray and refuse to talk to Him, He is ever loving and patient and is standing their with His arms open ready to receive you. God Bless You and keep on doing what God has called you to do.
