You asked,
“Are you OK?”
I hesitate.
I was wondering if…
Should I?
Nah.
Would you care?
Do I even dare?
I…
I don’t think I can.
Can I…
Can I tell you?
Would you understand?
Maybe…
But not today.
I wrote this in response to the daily prompt, hesitate. Do you ever feel like this when someone asks you how you’re doing?
I hope you will have that someone you trust enough to open up to. If you need to talk about anything, send me a message: contactdailywarriors@gmail.com.
Spot on Liz C. The reasons you highlight are clandestine to others as well as ourselves. Thank you. On Thu, Mar 2, 2017 at 9:03 AM Stay Strong, Daily Warrior! wrote:

Thank you for sharing this inspired insight! You really captured that feeling of “hesitation” when you know that another won’t really be interested or caring about what is laying heavy on your heart! Bravo!

This happens to almost everybody and we tend to be close minded about our life issues. It takes courage to be open minded enough to share and express ones feelings to others.

That’s one of the things I love about this blogging community, people are open-minded.

Yea, because most of us are open minded folks that are here to express, share and learn from each others and knowing that doing so is not the end of the world.

Good post, Liz. Most people are being nice in asking you to talk to them in times of trial. They mean well. It is hard to find that special someone who really cares and wants to listen and help in some way. If you find one, they are a treasure for sure!
I hope you have someone like that in your life. Again, I am happy to listen if you need or want to share something. I can be reached at: “spj1953@gmx.com”
