VOTW #8: Thoughts

The true battle starts in our minds.

In a world full of information and numerous ideologies, we need to be very careful with our thought processes.

There is a lot of false knowledge spreading as quick as a wildfire. We can easily get caught up with half-truths and lies. Before we know it, our thoughts becomes a blur. This is why you need to know what you believe in, and why.

The battle starts in our minds, so it’s vital to be be well-founded with the Truth.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. – John 14:6

We ALL go through times like this. Stay strong❤️ We are not supposed to fit in with this world! Just be the best you, you can be and ask God for fulfillment in that area of your life. If friends is what you want, ask God to bring some great people into your life. I am speaking for both you and me ❤️

We feed ourselves a very negative image of us, that’s the half truth. We have fed these lies to ourselves for so long that, now they appear to be true. That’s a form of deceit. We are not as terrible as we think we are.We are not as ugly as we think we are. We are not as stupid as we assume ourselves to be.

We are not half as bad as we think we are. We need to stop manipulating facts in order to put ourselves down.

We are better than we think we are, always have been. It is time now to give ourselves due credit for surviving all those rough days. We can get through this, we will.

What a great post. I’ve been thinking about how when God calls you to do something, he calls you to do it as you are. There have been times I’ve felt unworthy to do what he wants me to do. Like – “wait, let me try to be a become worthy first, and then I’ll do what you want me to do.” But that’s not what He wants! When he calls us to do something it’s as we already are. It’s always humbling to think God wants to use me in my unperfect and messed-up state.

That’s a good lesson from God, isn’t it? I remember Moses… Not believing he can lead people. But God equips those He has called.

Yes, he’s definitely someone I’ve thought about. Very encouraging to know he felt the same way, but look how God used him!
