It’s not that easy to love someone. Ask any married couple who have been living under one roof for years. Ask a brother and sister who grew up together through adolescence. Ask a teacher who watches over 30-50 kids in class a day.
Love takes patience and gentleness. It takes humility. It means admitting when you are wrong and understanding others when they make mistakes. It also means not lashing out on people just because of small conflicts. It is talking through your differences and working out a solution.
Love is learning to accept someone’s imperfections and growing to become a better person, together.
