Perspective

“Two men looked out from prison bars,
One saw the mud, the other saw stars.”

Dale Carnegie, How to Stop Worrying and Start Living

This is a good video to watch and listen to when you’re feeling down in the dumps:

Every single day you make a choice.

What do you choose to see in your life today?

  1. When I was 19 I sat consumed with teenage angst in my Uncle’s study. He was wise, not the kind that comes from colleges, but the kind that comes from life experience and decades of travel. He listened to my sea of complaints in complete silence, and when I was done he nodded and simply said to me, “life is all perspective.”

It stopped my angst in its tracks. 🙂

    1. He seems like a wise man. Thanks for sharing.

When I think about it, there were soooo many things I used to obsess about in high school.. now that I look back on it, I don’t even know why I did. Haha! Maybe it’s part of the teenage years.
