The Present

What we do with what we have creates a big impact with how our lives would turn out to be.

Life is full of unfortunate events, and some of us are not born with a silver spoon in our mouths. Our perspective about what we have makes a huge difference.

This short film reminds me to be resilient in every circumstance.

“If I regarded my life from the point of view of the pessimist, I should be undone. I should seek in vain for the light that does not visit my eyes and the music that does not ring in my ears. I should beg night and day and never be satisfied. I should sit apart in awful solitude, a prey to fear and despair. But since I consider it a duty to myself and to others to be happy, I escape a misery worse than any physical deprivation.”

Helen Keller

Despite being rendered deaf and blind at 18 months, Helen Keller has become one of the most well-known women in history. She overcame her disabilities thanks to the help of her teacher and friend, Anne Sullivan. During her lifetime, Helen became an author, lecturer, advocate, Socialist, and source of inspiration for many. (Source)

What we do with what we have creates a big impact with how our lives would turn out to be. So no matter where you are right now in your life, don’t fret.

If you are determined enough and willing to work hard, you can create the life that you want for yourself.

I like this post a lot. You are right also. We choose the kind of life we have. Sometimes we can’t change our circumstances but we have the choice on how we will react or deal with them. 🙂

Yeah… When I feel like complaining, I try to remember other people who dont have some things I do.. and how they make the most out of their own lives.

This is awesome…and I LOVE IT so much that I can make my life better by thinking positive….and in the words of Rex…the street does go both ways….so I have say I can make the same situation horrible by thinking negative thoughts…and then once again when I catch myself thinking negative…I will change my thoughts back to the positive…but I am STAYING STRONG being a DAILY WARRIOR…for a safe..happy…love filled life….you are awesome Liz C.

if one listens to the still quiet voice inside for guidance, we will find our life purpose and all happiness and abundance will follow. We will know what our Creator created us for. We must not compare ourselves to any others for true happiness and fulfillment. Love who we are!
