Count Your Blessings

Gratitude can make your life happier and more satisfying.

Dear daily warriors,

This post is VERY special.

We will talk about blessings and spread the positivity all around.

According to an article at positivepsychologyprogram.com, “Gratitude can make your life happier and more satisfying. When we feel gratitude, we benefit from the pleasant memory of a positive event in our life. Also, when we express our gratitude to others, we strengthen our relationship with them” (Seligman, 2012).

So for this post, I encourage you to write 3 things that you are grateful for TODAY.

  • You can write it in the comments; OR
  • You can publish a post about it, and use pingback  or link back to this post for us to read.
  • Make sure to include why you are grateful for each thing.

To give you an idea, you can ask yourself some of these questions:

“Is there something in my situation that I can be grateful for?”
“What made me smile?”
“What’s the best thing that happened?”
“Who or what inspired me?”

I would love to read about the silver linings and awesome things that’s been happening to you all! Please do share them with us. ❤

liz

Hi! Thanks so much! It’s a good habit that I myself am trying to do each day.. remembering the blessings instead of the hardships for the day.

Wonderful post! Gratitude is such an important part of a spiritual life. My three gratitudes:

    1. I am grateful for the women who came before me, our foremothers of the Suffrage era who never stopped fighting for women’s right to vote.
    2. I am grateful for such a beautiful Autumn day. The sunshine is invigorating. The scent is tantalizing. The Autumn colors all around me are inspiring. I feel alive.
    3. I am grateful for the friendships, old and new, that I have made here on WordPress. You all inspire me.

It’s really okay, Lori! I almost didn’t want to point it out, but it might get a bit confusing for some.

My three things to be grateful for would be…
*The faith to finally follow my writing wherever it leads
*The rain on the roof watering a crop we have planted
*My family all safe and healthy and at home (for now at least)

    Love this! I’m grateful:
    1) That my children are happy, healthy, and receive free education
    2) That I have a job where I am appreciated and enjoy everyone I work with
    3) That the sun is shining and the leaves are beautiful outside my window

Wow, free education. That’s a really nice privilege! Also, you don’t have to stress out about tuition or a toxic work environment. This is great.

I am grateful for my wife who encourages and inspires me every day, she is an angel intuitive, so I am fortunate to have guidance from the heavens.
I live on the top floor of my building, in the treetops, so I get to watch as the creatures of the sky go about their daily lives, being cared for by the Divine, it makes me happy!
I am grateful for my home and my family and especially that the Divine gives me love and a good life full of abundance.

Nice list. It’s really important to have a partner who inspires and supports you. It adds a lot to life’s happiness. I’m glad you have that someone.

Also, your view from the top floor sounds great! Haha

I am grateful today for the courage and dignity of Hillary Clinton.
I am grateful for my grandson’s teacher holding a mock “ice cream” election yesterday to demonstrate democracy.
I am grateful that my grandson’s choice, mint chocolate chip” won his election even if my choice didn’t.
I am grateful that I found your blog.
