“I don’t know if we should be doing this.” Confusion said as he closed the windows in the room. He looked at Princess who was sound asleep. She was lying down on the single bed in the Dark Room.
Anxiety was sitting on a chair beside the bed, watching Princess thoughtfully. She turned to face Confusion. “Look, we’re doing her a favor. She’s always with Optimism, and look where that brought us.”
“Optimism gets annoying, but she means well. Doesn’t she?”
“Probably, but now we have to do a lot of things because of her! Where do I even begin?”
Anxiety and Optimism never got along. They never stay in the same room together for more than a few minutes.
She was always staying away from the others, but Optimism kept trying to be friends with her. That one never gives up.
Anxiety just kept her distance from Optimism most of the time until it became the norm.
“Where am I?” Princess faintly murmured. Anxiety turned her attention back to her.
“We’re in the Dark Room.”
Princess looked dazed as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She was feeling really weak.
She squinted her eyes and saw Confusion on the other side of the room. He was watching her somewhat apologetically.
“Con?” she was asking for an explanation when Anxiety spoke.
“Princess, you need to stop Project Phoenix.”
